Kids have short attention spans. They are easily distracted. Finding the best toys for a child can be difficult. You want to keep them excited and stimulated yet you want them to learn as well.
These days, toys are being made to really focus on child learning and development as well as keeping the child entertained, which is what parents want! The best toys are those which enable a child to use their own creativity
When looking for the perfect toys for a child, go for imaginative play. Find things that get the child involved with their minds. Not video games and computer games, but rather, things that are more hands on such as puzzles and building blocks, doll houses and kitchen sets.
Simple building blocks are great for imaginative play.Children who open their minds and use their imagination to play tend to stay focused longer and are less like to become bored quickly
Tips and warning
Computer games are a great way to get your child's mind going but don't let that be the only thing they have!
Natural or environmentally friendly toys may cost a little more, but they last longer and kids seem to enjoy them much more than plastic toys.
Always follow the manufacturer age recommendation for use since many toys can be choking hazards for children under three years of age.
